The Young Leaders International Model United Nations is here with its first edition. The last week of June in Visakhapatnam will see a plethora of ideas wrapped in peaceful and diplomatic debate.
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, charged with the maintenance of international peace and security as well as accepting new members to the United Nations and approving any changes to its United Nations Charter.
Agenda: Tackling the prevalence of violent extremism in the African subcontinent, with special emphasis on North Africa.
The Committee works in close cooperation with the United Nations Disarmament Commission and the Geneva-based Conference on Disarmament. It is the only Main Committee of the General Assembly entitled to verbatim records coverage.
Agenda: Protracted conflicts in the GUAM area and their implications for international peace, security and development.
The Human Rights Council is an intergovernmental body within the United Nations system responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe and for addressing situations of human rights violations and make recommendations on them.
Agenda: Protection of the Right to Privacy with Regard to the Internet and Information Technologies.
