Call for Proposals: Young Feminist Fund by FRIDA, USA [Grants Upto Rs. 4.5L]: Submit by Mar 29
FRIDA’s call for proposals for 2020 is now open. If you are a young collective working from a feminist perspective, this opportunity is for you!
FRIDA works with young feminist activists all over the world to build a more just, sustainable world. We believe that when young feminist activists are trusted as experts of their own reality and provided with resources, opportunities, and networks, they are a powerful force for change.
Who can Apply?
FRIDA grants are given to organizations and groups that are dedicated to:
- Improving the lives of girls, young women, trans and intersex youth at local, national, regional or international levels;
- Inclusive organizing;
- Collective action and feminist movement building;
Grantee organizations that FRIDA supports are led by girls, young women, trans and intersex youth, under the age of 30. At least 70% of your organization’s membership needs to be girls, young women, trans and intersex people under 30 and the leadership in the group needs to be girls, young women trans and intersex youth under 30.
You do not need to be a legally registered organization to apply.
You can apply for a grant up to USD 6,000. Grant money is flexible, it can be used over a period of 12 months for general support and/or projects, and are open to renewal.
How to Apply?
This year, the call is open from February 13th to March 29th, 2020. All applications are to be sent online. You can apply in any one of the following seven languages: Arabic, English, French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin. FRIDA currently supports 150+ grantee partners.
