The University of Madras is a public state university in Chennai (formerly Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 1857, it is one of the oldest universities in India. The university was incorporated by an Act of the Legislative Council of India.

About the Speaker

Ms Sonali Srinivasan is trained from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and she practices as a Consultant Psychologist and Psychotherapist at multispecialty, tertiary care private hospitals in Chennai. She has worked in the areas of Child and Adolescent Counselling, Psychopathology (including Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Psychosomatic Symptoms), Developmental Disorders (LD, ADHD), Psycho-Oncology, addressing Distress associated with Physical Health Conditions, Pain Management, Managing Stress, Couples Counselling and Grief Therapy. She has also received training in Clinical Art Therapy.

  • Registration Fee for Research Scholars and PG Students (below the age of 22) is Rs. 300
