About the Workshop
The Workshop on Supramolecular Fluorescent Chemosensors for Molecular Recognition & its Varied Applications is organised by the Department of Chemistry, Kongunadu College of Engineering and Technology, Tamil Nadu on Nov 1, 2019.
Supramolecular chemistry is the domain of chemistry concerning chemical systems composed of a discrete number of molecules. Chemosensors describes molecule of synthetic origin that signal the presence of matter or energy. It involves the continuous monitoring of the activity of a chemical species in a given matrix such as solution, air, blood, tissue, waste effluents, drinking water, etc. This workshop helps to know about the various applications of Fluorescent Chemosensors in many diverse fields such as biology, physiology, pharmacology, and environmental sciences.
- Supramolecular chemistry
- Supramolecular chirality
