Apart from industrial automation, the robots have the potential to help in health care automation, sharing social space with humans with emotion recognition capabilities and help differently-abled persons. The workshop will introduce the participants with the fundamental tools and techniques of the exciting area of robotics and Machine Intelligence.

The workshop will also showcase the exciting fields of work and research. Industry personnel shall also demonstrate the industrial applications of robots and the technologies therein. There will be several hands-on sessions to grasp the concepts together with invited keynote lectures from premier institutions in India and abroad.

  1. Mission Planning: Learn how multiple robots team up and solve complex problems using Artificial Intelligence techniques.
  2. Application of Machine Intelligence in Robotics: The robots make complex decisions using some naive sensors. Learn the art that interprets and makes decisions from this sensory percept.
  3. Humanoid Robotics: Play hands-on and in theory with the most complex but elegant robots, the humanoids. Learn how they balance, move, see and operate.
  4. Big Data in Robotics: Modern robots use a wide variety of sensors that capture a lot of data in real time. Learn the art of processing such a big repository of data.
Who can Attend?
  1. B.Tech/M.Tech and Ph.D. scholars having good analytical skills. Suitable for students to get motivated into robotics and get a feel of the different areas of work in robotics.
  2. Suited for faculty to expand their horizons in robotics and also to start new robotics courses in the parent university.
