The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Calicut is organizing an Online Workshop on Introduction to Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) from May 20 to 22, 2021.
National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is fully centrally funded by MHRD and is governed by the NIT Act 2007. Institute has ten departments, three schools, and nine research centers. It offers ten UG, and thirty PG programs along with the Ph.D. program in various fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering.
About the Course
For our three-day program, we intend to go into the depths of GANs through which we explore how a statistical model can learn the characteristics of a distribution. Through workshops and technical talks, we intend to provide insights into the working of GANs and draw attention to some elements in human intelligence.
Through hands-on coding sessions, we plan to teach how to develop a GAN to generate unseen images. It will be useful to the students and research scholars to solve their research problems using GAN.
