The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune is organizing an Online Workshop on Film-Making as a tool for Science Communication from September 14 to 18, 2020.
This workshop is funded by the National Council for Science and Technology Communication, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, under the project ‘Training Programmes Enabling Effective Science Communication’.
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune is an autonomous public research university established in 2006. It is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research and was one of the first IISERs to be established along with IISER Kolkata. It is located in Pune, Maharashtra.

Fima-Maker Hari M. Rohan is the instructor for the workshop. He made a Malayalam documentary ‘Invisible wings’ in 2015, which won the best short film award in the Non-Fiction category award at the 2018 Filmfare short award.
