The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli is organizing an ICSSR Sponsored Workshop on Enhancing Competitiveness in Contemporary Research Methods from July 5 to 14, 2021.
NIT-T offers full-time and part-time Ph.D. Program in all branches of Engineering (Chemical, Civil, CSE, Energy and Environment, EEE, ECE, Instrumentation and Control, Mechanical, Metallurgical and Materials, and Production), Architecture, Computer Applications, Management Studies, Science (Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics), and Humanities (English/ Economics).
This workshop aims to improve the research quality of the scholars, by throwing light on the journey of the research process and elaborating the methods and strategies to cross every inch of the research path. The planning, execution, and delivery phase in the research will be explored and elucidated by eminent resource persons.
The workshop provides expert training on the different research methods used in the field of social sciences. It will encourage interdisciplinary approaches to the field of research emphasizing qualitative research as well as quantitative research.
