About the organiser
Video Volunteers is a non-governmental organization working in the field of community media. The entire network of its community media initiative is spread across India with more than 200 community correspondents bringing out stories in their areas, from their community, to the world, which has not been noticed by any media.
About the workshop
In this workshop we would learn the basic concepts of community media or citizen’s journalism. How it works? What are the effects? Alongside, training of using the mobile as a tool for journalism: photography, video and video editing will also be done in this workshop.
Who is it for
This workshop is useful for all citizens, especially people working in social field or with small media groups, youth associated with social movements, campaigns and organisations as well as students.
