The focus of this winter short course is on reinforcing the fundamentals of signal processing in the context of the new small World. In addition to offering advanced-level topics in the areas of signal processing, the course is also designed to give equal emphasis on the fundamentals of the subject.

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (also known as IIT Gandhinagar or IITGN) is a public engineering institution located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. It has been declared to be an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India.

IIT Gandhinagar is one of the eight Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) announced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2008. The institute began operating in a temporary campus at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda, mentored by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.

  • Frequency and time-frequency analysis,
  • VLSI signal processing,
  • Statistical signal processing,

  • Audio signal processing,
  • Fundamentals of computer vision and signal processing applications in other upcoming fields.
