The Public Policy Club (PPC), Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will host a webinar on the topic-‘Turning crisis into opportunities: The role of MBA graduates in building a healthy, resilient and egalitarian India in a COVID affected economy’.
Political and democratic reformist Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan will address the audience on 29th  August 2020 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a public business school and Institute of National Importance located in Bangalore, India. Founded in 1973, it was the third IIM to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad.

Speaker

The webinar will be hosted by Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan who is an ex-civil services officer, IAS batch of 1980 (AIR #4), founder of the political party Loksatta, General Secretary of Foundation for Democratic Reforms, and has been a member of various national panels. In his 16 years of service in the public administration and more than 24 years to date as a politician, he has made ground-breaking strides in the realm of public policy for democratic and political reforms.
In this journey, he has been instrumental in driving three constitutional amendments and 15+ landmark legislative acts and has always been a supporter of invigorating and encouraging youth to enter politics and shape the nation. The speaker session is oriented towards MBA graduates from across IIMs and other B-Schools; however, others interested in the topic are also welcome to join.
