About the Webinar
A large number of database systems have been evolved over the past few years, many of them gained so much importance as they address the increased demand for processing gigantic data. NoSQL databases are distributed, non-relational, open-source and are horizontally scalable (in a linear way).
The underlying structure of a NoSQL database differs from a relational database in many aspects. However, which technology will lead the future generation databases is still unanswered and is under constant debate across various technical communities.
The purpose of this session is to discuss the advantages, disadvantages, shortcoming and future of NoSQL databases compared to the ever-existing SQL based relational databases.

About the Speaker
- Debanshu Majumdar is a Software Developer, in IBM India Expert labs for Cognitive Applications and Automated systems. He has worked in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence patterns, Python Development, Java Development and also worked on various databases for design and implementation.
- He has delivered various UR sessions on topics like NoSQL databases and Java. He was also one of the Workshop chair speakers in the EVOKE CASCON 2020, by IBM Canada and the University of Alberta. He also successfully completed his first GRM Project with a team of 5 in the year 2020.
