The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi is organizing a Webinar on The Potential Role of Hydrogen in India on September 21, 2020, from 4:30 pm onwards.
The Energy and Resources Institute is a research institute in New Delhi that specializes in the fields of energy, environment, and sustainable development. Established in 1974, it was formerly known as the Tata Energy Research Institute.
TERI has been undertaking work to increase understanding of the use of hydrogen across different sectors of the economy. In mid-June, TERI had prepared a policy brief on hydrogen, which emphasized the need for the Indian industry and government to work together to develop key hydrogen technologies, maximizing economic and environmental benefits and accelerating the energy transition.
During the event, TERI will present some emerging analysis of the production and use of hydrogen in different sectors. This event will bring together senior-level participants from industry and government, to discuss the challenges and opportunities for expanding the role of hydrogen in India.
