Webinar on Right Livelihood: Moving Toward a Regenerative Economy by Global Peace Initiative of Women [Nov 6; 6:30 PM]: Register Now!

The Webinar on Right Livelihood: Moving Toward a Regenerative Economy is organized by the Global Peace Initiative of Women on Nov 6, 2021 at 6:30 PM.

About the Event

They are delighted to invite you into an imaginative conversation with Charles Eisenstein, author of the groundbreaking and fascinating book, ‘Sacred Economics’. Shashank Kalra and Vibhuti Aggarwal of the Youth Alliance of India will moderate and guide the conversation.

The questions we will hold:

  • How can a society better allow the gifts of the emerging generations to be nurtured and dovetailed into Right Livelihoods, meaning careers that are fulfilling and generative for the individual and society as a whole?
  • How can we support younger generations in building successful, sustainable careers that honor their natural skills and abilities? How do we instill a foundation of integrity, compassion, joy and meaning into the work they do? How do we help them discover their gifts and where they would be of use?

This three hour program will take place on November 6, 2021 from 9:00am – 12:00pm EST.

About Charles Eisenstein

Charles is an American public speaker and author. His work covers a wide range of topics, including the history of human civilization, economics, spirituality, and the ecology movement. Key themes explored include anti-consumerism, interdependence, and how myth and narrative influence culture.

According to Eisenstein, global culture is immersed in a destructive “story of separation”, and one of the main goals of his work is to present an alternative “story of interbeing”.

Much of his work draws on ideas from Eastern philosophy and the spiritual teachings of various indigenous peoples. Eisenstein has been involved in the Occupy, New Economy, and permaculture movements. His work has also been popular with countercultural and New Age audiences.
