The Department of Bio-Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra is organizing a National Webinar on Impact of COVID-19 on Mental Health & Well-Being on August 8, 2020, from 2 pm onwards.
Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. It was established in the year 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand, India by the philanthropist and industrialist Late Shri. B. M. Birla.

Webinar Highlights

The unexpected and sudden outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has shocked the entire world. Lockdown and the need for social distancing due to COVID-19 have intensely affected human life. The pandemic poses mental health and well-being challenges for everyone.
We need to be prepared to cope up with the changing realities. Since the current COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on students’ mental health hence how educators can respond to help students who are facing challenges during the pandemic also needs to be addressed.
This webinar will help us realize why the pandemic has created a difficult situation for us and provide tips and tools for taking care of ourselves, our family, our students and most importantly staying positive.
