Applications are invited for University Research Fellowship for Ph.D. (Physical Education) in the Department of Physical Education, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.

Four Reservation Category GT-1, BC-1, MBC-1 and SC/ST-1


Rs.5,000/- per month for a maximum period of Ph.D. Program


  • M.P.Ed., Candidates who have already qualified for Ph.D.
  • Entrance Examination in Physical Education conducted by Bharathidasan University as per University regulations.
  • M.Phil., candidates in Physical Education are exempted from the Ph.D. qualification test.

Registration Fee

Rs.300/- for GT, BC, MBC and Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of “Bharathidasan University” payable at Tiruchirappalli.

How to Apply

All interested eligible candidates are requested to send the filled-in application form along with the documents to The Head, Department of Physical Education, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024 by post or in person, on or before November 29, 2019.

Application in the prescribed format along with the attested copies of the academic Qualifications, starting from SSLC should be submitted.

  • Attested copy of Community Certificate.
  • Ph.D Entrance Examination qualified certificate copy (if applicable).
  • A detailed CV including details such as E-mail ID & Mobile number.
