About the Programme
The Training Programme on Real-Time Data Acquisition and IoT Applications is organised by the Department of Mechatronics Engineering & Electronics & Communication Engineering, Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE), Madurai from Dec 28-29, 2019.
The objective of this training programme is to give an introduction to the Engineering Faculty and Graduates in handling the NI LabVIEW software and hardware for theoretical and practical situations. This course will lead the participants for making a prototype in a quicker fashion in the LabVIEW environment. Recent technologies like IoT, data virtualization and industry 4.0 interface to NI LabIVEW environment will be understand by the participant.
LabVIEW Programming Environment: Components of LabVIEW, Data flow, while loops, for loops, arrays, clusters, plotting data and NI Express VIs Acquiring Measurements from Hardware: Measuring fundamentals with NI myDAQ and myRIO. Experiments based on analog and digital input/output. Applications of myDAQ and myRIO. Introduction to Sensor, Interfacing sensors with myDAQ/myRIO, Introduction to IoT, LabVIEW based IoT.
On the successful completion of the course, the participants will be able to
- Recognize the main components of the LabVIEW environment and create a new project and a new VI in LabVIEW.
- Handle the NI Express VIs platform to design a project as well as to develop simple VI applications that can acquire, analyze and display/store the results.
- Interface the myDAQ/myRIO with LabVIEW, perform the simulation and acquire the real-world measurements.
- Understand LabVIEW, NI myDAQ and myRIO for high-speed data acquisition in IoT environment
Who can Participate?
This training programme is addressed to Faculty and students from various Engineering discipline. It is designed in such a way to develop the skills in data acquisition and IoT applications using National Instruments (NI) Software and Hardware platform.
How to Register?
Filled in application form should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs.1,200/- (One Thousand and Two Hundred only), drawn in favour of “The Principal, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai”, payable at Madurai. The registration fee includes the course material, Lunch & snacks.
