About
This programme gives participants a comprehensive understanding of planning and conducting scientific experiments for collecting data, and analyzing the data to have fruitful conclusions. The programme has been designed to be generic in nature for satisfying the needs of students and faculty pursuing their M. Tech and Ph.D.s from academic institutions and industry personnel carrying out research in any field.
Lectures will be delivered on the basic principles of scientific research, identifying/defining research problem, design of experiments, data collection, and statistical tools for analyzing data. Hands on lab sessions on various software tools will also be conducted in the Training Program.

Regular hands on training is planned for integrating a statistical tool with problems
Who should attend
Faculty of engineering, medical & management Institutions at Degree /Diploma levels, PG students, research scholars can benefit from this training programme. It is mandatory that students must provide a copy of their identity card with registration form.

Accommodation
Guest rooms are available @Rs. 150 per day in institute hostel and food can be taken in hostel canteen by purchasing coupons (Rs. 30-50 per meal). Working lunch will be provided to all the participants.Limited accommodation in faculty guest is also available on first
come first serve basis.
