Studio Nilima invites applications for the second edition of its Research Fellowship Program. The program is designed to bring together potential scholars who are interested in working at the intersections of law and conflict and/or law and governance.

The program encourages aspirants from various disciplines of study to apply. Mentorship on research methodology and academic writing will be provided at dedicated intervals during the term of the fellowship.

Studio Nilima Research Fellows will spend 6 months working on areas of their research interest, with clearly defined outcomes. Fellows will be assigned dedicated mentors and will be expected to interact with them through the term of the fellowship; fellows will also participate in workshops and seminars organized as part of the fellowship.

Outcomes which meet international standards, produced over a period of 6 months, will be disseminated through Studio Nilima publication series and other channels, as selected by Studio Nilima.

Term of the Fellowship: February 01 to June 30, 2018

It will not be possible to start the fellowship at a later date. Fellowship will be granted only for a period of 6 months.

A nominal amount of 5000 INR will be awarded per month to the fellows.

Deadline for Application is January 05, 2018, 5 PM. The application should include:

Cover letter (750 words maximum)
Curriculum vitae (3 pages maximum)
Project description (1,000 words maximum)
2 Letters of recommendation

You will be notified about the outcome of your application by January 20, 2018.
