What is a Samvaad, you ask? It is a space where you can put your thoughts and ideas in front of an audience which is willing to hear and reciprocate.
When we talk about Individualism, “Don’t tread on me” by Metallica comes to mind. The song borrows its refrain and the album cover from the American Revolution, depicting a timber rattlesnake coiled and ready to strike.
As the popular saying goes, “metal music is just classical music after electricity ”. At the heart of rock music and heavy metal lie the sheer honesty to one’s own feelings and those of others. Liberty, empathy and self-acceptance are important components of Individualism as well as rock music.
