Students’ Chemical Engineering Congress 2021 at MANIT Bhopal [Sept 24-25]: Submit by July 31


Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal (MANIT), Bhopal is organizing the Students’ Chemical Engineering Congress (SCHEMCON) 2021 from September 24 to 25, 2021.

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal (An Institution of National Importance), offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses and research programs. Under the peaceful and friendly environment, MANIT is producing technocrats who are resources to the Nation and the world. Our bright students with excellent technical skills have always contributed to the successes of various sections of the technical group.

Conference Objectives

The Students’ Chemical Engineering Congress (SCHEMCON), an annual event organized by the Students’ Chapter of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) under one of its Regional Centers (IIChE Headquarter, Kolkata), is being organized jointly by MANIT Bhopal and IISER Bhopal.

It provides a platform to Chemical Engineers for interacting, learning, and to gain exposure to research in the area of Chemical Engineering and technology development. The SCHEMCON-2021 with a theme “Globally Advancement in Technology for Environment (GATE2021)” is expected to develop a formal platform for enriching scientifically through discussions and knowledge sharing in the field of chemical and process industries.

The aim of the SCHEMCON-2021 is to challenge and inspire the budding chemical engineers, research scholars, and industry for exchanging knowledge and sharing of best practices in a global-scale context toward advances for a clean and sustainable environment. The event will also provide an excellent opportunity for young researchers and post-graduate students to interact with eminent scientists and industry personnel working in the frontier areas of chemical engineering science.

Call for Papers

Papers are invited in all areas of Chemical Engineering with the theme “Globally Advancement in Technology for Environment (GATE2021)” and not limited to the following topics:

  1. Industrial wastewater treatment technology.
  2. Energy & environmental engineering including modeling and simulation.
  3. Energy resources: potential, estimation, and utilization of renewable resources.
  4. Environmental biotechnology, nanoparticles application in energy and environment.
  5. Green materials for accurate, cheap, and faster detection of COVID-19.
  6. Energy technologies for rural development, greenhouse farming, energy plantation in agriculture.
  7. Environmental impact assessments in the Indian context.
  8. Case studies/ critical assessment, state-of-art in the above areas.
