An online interview for the engagement of Student internship under the Scientific Social Responsibility Policy of DST- SERB SRG Research Project in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Calicut.

Project details
  • Name of the project: Development of an indigenous tool for the enhancement of medical images using deep neural networks.
  • Name of sponsoring agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)
  • Student Internship: Two months (May-June 2021)
Eligibility Criteria

Students currently in 6th or 8th semester (or awaiting the final results) of B.Tech B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics or equivalent with minimum 7.0 CGPA (70%). Candidates who have expertise in python/pytorch programming for developing web frameworks are desirable.

How to Apply?

Candidates have to send an application form in the prescribed format (annexed) as e-mail to sudeep.py[at]nitc.acin or hodeced[at]ntic.ac.in with the subject “STUDENT INTERNSHIP-SERB(DST)/SRG/ECED”. The self-attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the CV. The details regarding the conduct of the interview will be informed to the va eligible candidates via email. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of the information, other documents, and photographs submitted.

Stipend

Consolidated monthly compensation of student internship: Monthly assistantship Rs. 5,000/- per month (Rupees Five thousand only).
