SRF Under DST Funded Project at IIT-BHU, Varanasi: Apply by Nov 22: Expired

Applications are invited for SRF Under DST Funded Project at IIT-BHU, Varanasi for the year 2021. The last date of application is 22 November.

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project titled “Development of Optical Fibre Cable Coloring Machine” sanctioned up to September 2023.

The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should possess essential qualifications.

About

Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi is a public technical and research university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Founded in 1919 as the Banaras Engineering College, it became the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in 1968. It was designated as an Indian Institute of Technology in 2012.

Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Engineering/Science relevant to the scope of the project work.
  • The candidates must have qualified GATE/NET.
  • Two years of research experience is compulsory.

The candidate should posses the above qualification. SC/ ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

Application on Plain paper giving Name, permanent and correspondence address, names of parents/legal guardian, telephone no. and e-mail address, details of educational career (starting from High School or equivalent) along with self-attested copies of all mark-sheets & certificates and details of any research or other experience, etc., if any, should reach on or before 22tnd November 2021.

Salary

Rs. 35,000 + HRA.
