Submissions are invited for Short Film Animation and Digital Wallpaper Design Contest 2021 by DRDO for the year 2021. The last date of application is 15 December.
Objective
The contest is a platform for the nation’s blooming creative talent. The contest targets to promote national pride as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.

- Defence Technologies
Eligibility
- All Indian citizens as individuals and school/college students of recognized institutions within India can participate and submit their entries.
- Overseas Citizens of India don’t qualify as Indian citizens to participate in the contest.
- The contest is NOT open for DRDO employees and their immediate family members.
Contest Categories
- School/College Students:- For only school and college going students NOT more than 20 years as on 01 Jan 2022
- Individuals:- For any citizen of India more than 20 years as on 01 Jan 2022
Submission
- Interested candidates can submit entries via this page.
- There is NO entry fee and all Indians can participate free of cost.
Submission Requirement
Short Animation Film Design
- The video can use any relevant content available online or custom animations.
- Animation video should be of min 30secs and max 120secs of minimum 1080p resolution..
- Animation video could be with or without audio (audio does impart value addition in the video).
- Animation video should be saved as MP4 file format.
- Description of your design video should be saved as PDF file in up to 250 words.
Digital Wallpaper Design
- The digital wall paper should be of atleast 1024×768 resolution with 4:3 screen size or 1280×720 resolution for 16:9 wide screen.
- Designed digital wallpaper should be saved as JPEG file.
- Description of your design should be saved as pdf file in up to 250 words.
Selection Process
The DRDO‘s evaluation panel looks forward to: Novel thinking and originality, beautiful execution, great storytelling skills, work that inspires or motivates beyond expectation and work which connects with the people.The entries received will be judged by a two stage process. :
- Screened by Domain Expert Committee and
- Short-listing and Ranking by Independent Expert Committee.
