Established in 1958, National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR) is a premier training institute and a centre of excellence in research and consultancy services in the rural development arena.

About the Seminar

The seminar proposes to have a deeper understanding of access to finance by MSEs in general and the role of digital/financial literacy in MSE sector in particular. The focus is also on women entrepreneurs, as they are managing the significant number of micro & small enterprises. The seminar proceedings may be published with ISSN number. Research papers may also be sent for consideration by Journal of Rural Development, the in-house journal of NIRDPR.

Submission Procedure

Research Papers, Case Studies, and Innovative Practices, from India, and other countries are welcome. The papers should be emailed to, Papers submitted should not exceed 6000 words (including tables and appendices) and should adhere to APA format.

Seminar Fee

Registration fee is Rs. 1500 for participants from India, and US$ 75, for participants from other countries.
