Eligibility
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree of a recognised University in Hindi with English as compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. (OR)
    • Master’s degree of a recognised University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. (OR)
    • Master’s degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. (OR)
    • Master’s degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. (OR)
    • Master’s degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
      • Note 1:- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
      • Note 2:- The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • To comply with the orders given by the Head of Office and perform the activities under the directions of Head of Office.
    • To inspect the Central Government offices, Under takings, Banks etc. located in the region in terms of implementation of Official Language Policy.
    • To participate in the Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Departmental Official language Implementation Committee as per the directions of the Head of Office.
    • To assist the the Deputy Director (Implementation) in monitoring of the Annual Programme issued by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs.
    • To review the Quarterly Progress Report and to assist the senior officers in these work.
    • To submit the Dak/Receipts in the office of Deputy Director/Assistant Director.
  • Age:  Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. 40 years for PwBD candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.   • Officer(s) will be required to serve in any Office of the 8 Regional Implementation Offices (Delhi, Ghaziabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bangalore and Cochin).
