The editorial mission of the Journal of Marketing is to develop and disseminate knowledge about real-world marketing questions useful to scholars, educators, managers, policymakers, consumers, and other societal stakeholders around the world.
The Indian School of Business (ISB) is a private business school established in India in 2001. It has two campuses in Hyderabad (Telangana), and in Mohali (Punjab). It offers certificates in various postgraduate management programs. The Indian School of Business (ISB) was started in 1996 by a group of businessmen and academics.
This JM-ISB School Research Development Workshop will further our mission by focusing on the development of research ideas about real-world marketing questions—a critical and challenging aspect of the research process. We look forward to working with you over the next few days.
- This workshop will offer knowledge and skills to advanced Ph.D. students and faculty interested in publishing research on important real-world marketing questions and problems.
- The 1.5-day event will involve plenary speakers (JM Editors, Associate Editors, and ERB members) followed by workshop-style activities in which participants will have an opportunity to practice developing and pitching their research ideas to editorial teams and other participants.

Who can Attend?
If you are an advanced Ph.D. student, a junior faculty, or more advanced faculty looking for new insights and approaches, please apply for participation. Preference will be given to junior faculty if applications exceed limits.
