Applications are invited for One Research Associate position to work in a DST funded project in the QuST program under “Quantum Information Technologies with Photonic Devices”.
Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar is an autonomous research institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The Institute was founded by Professor Bidhu Bhusan Das, who was Director of Public Instruction, Odisha, at that time.
Essential and Desirable Qualifications
The applicant must have obtained Ph.D. in Physics/Mathematics from a recognized University and have expertise in Quantum Information and Quantum Foundations. A post-doctoral experience of 1 or 2 years would be desirable.
Duration
The initial appointment of the candidate will be for 1 year, extendable on annual basis depending on the performance of the candidate, up to two years or upon termination of the project, whichever occurs earlier. The project position is co-terminus with the above project.

As per IOP and DST guidelines.
Project Description
The main focus of this project will be to study different Quantum Information processing protocols, developing new techniques and understanding the role of genuine Quantum features. Study of Nonlocality and quantification of correlations will be other goals.
