Applications are invited for Research Associate (Environmental Sciences) Under DBT Funded Project at JNU, New Delhi. The last date of application is 5 March.
Role of Himalayan alder (Alnus nepalensis D.Don) in recovery of degraded ecosystems in the central Himalaya.
Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in any branch of Biological Sciences/Environmental sciences/ Biotechnology/ Botany/Forestry
Desirable Qualifications: Sites are located in remote locations of Himalaya. Candidates with a prior experience in working in Himalaya and willing to visit field sites regularly Himalaya will be preferred. Proficiency in molecular techniques and ecological traits analysis will be advantageous.
Tenure of the position
The position is purely temporary in nature and will terminate with project completion.
As per DBT norms and guidelines for Research Associate – I (Rs. 47000/- per month plus HRA@24%).
