Rajasthan IT Hackathon

Government of Rajasthan (GoR) is organizing Hackathon 2017 in Kota. The state government recognizes the power of creative thinkers in wealth creation and empowerment of technology. We are committed towards creating a comprehensive ecosystem where innovators would grow, prosper and form a significant part of the mainstream economy.

Rajasthan Hackathon 2017- Kota, envisaged as a 24-hour event is one of its kind initiatives for the promotion of Information Technology and e-Governance.

The purpose of Hackathon is to give a platform to enterprising youth, startups & entrepreneurs across the nation and use their out-of-the-box thinking on Bhamashah, e-Mitra, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, AR/VR and Blockchain. It shall provide a platform to developers who seek possibilities of support from Government to showcase their skills and capabilities.

What are the key takeaways?

  • Opportunity to work on platforms like Bhamashah, e-Mitra, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, AR/VR and Blockchain
  • The top three winning teams will earn a contract with Department of Information Technology & Communication, Government of Rajasthan worth Rs.15 Lacs, Rs.10 Lacs and Rs.7.5 Lacs respectively.
  • Participants would also be nominated for 10 other prize categories which would include exciting prizes like iPad, tablet, cell phones, etc.

Note: Rajasthan Government/Department of Information Technology & Communications employees cannot participate in the Hackathon.
