The World Wide Fund-India (WWF) is organizing a National level Quiz called The Wild Wisdom Quiz 2017 which will be held at the school and city level from August to September and at the national level in Delhi at October 4.
About WWF
A challenging, constructive, science-based organization, WWF-India, in keeping with the tenets of its parent organization, addresses issues like the survival of species and habitats, climate change and environmental education.
Over the years, its perspective has broadened to reflect a more holistic understanding of conservation issues facing the country.
About the Quiz
WWF-India started Wild Wisdom Quiz in 2008 to sensitize students about India’s rich biodiversity and natural heritage. Since its launch, it has scaled higher every subsequent year to become Asia’s biggest and India’s only National level Wildlife Quiz.
The Quiz is an ideal platform to reach out to young minds, and embed the seeds of environment conservation through a fun filled and interactive learning experience.
With record breaking participation over the last nine years, Wild Wisdom Quiz has already begun to create future environmental leaders who with their sharp minds and wise hearts can make the planet a better place to live.
Wild Wisdom 2017 will be conducted in 15 cities across India, reaching out to more than 15,000 schools. This year the quiz will be conducted internationally in Nepal as well.
The quiz will be conducted at Primary (class 3-5), Middle (class 6-8) and Senior level (class 9-12). The National Finale (for the Middle School) will be held in New Delhi during Wildlife Week in October, 2017 with the pioneer of Indian Quizzing, Mr. Siddhartha Basu, the Quiz Man of India.
Like every year, the top 3 winning teams (Middle level) will be taken on a sponsored trip to Camp Hornbill in Ramnagar, Uttrakhand to witness conservation activities on ground and to experience wildlife and nature.
Wild Wisdom Quiz 2017 explores and examines the theme: MAZE OF THE NATURAL WORLD.

How to Register
For classes 3 to 8:

  • A minimum of 10 students have to register per school.
  • School notifies students/ parents about the Wild Wisdom Quiz.
  • The teacher-in-charge registers the school online and completes the payment through NEFT or Demand Draft.
  • Two highest scoring participants, each from Primary and Middle School are selected as a team.
  • The Middle school winners represent their city at the National finale in Delhi.
  • Interested students pay a participation fee of Rs.100

  • Individual participation for Senior school online quiz is open for students across India.
  • Pay a registration fee of Rs.100 through online transfer.

Poster Making Competition

  • School registers for the poster making competition which is open for classes 3-8.
  • Last date to register is July 31st.
  • One time registration fee – INR 300/- through NEFT/Demand draft.
  • Theme: Life on Earth 100 years from now

  • Prizes: Best selected posters from each state will be a part of WWF-India’s 2018 calendar.
