Applications are invited to attend an interview (in-person/ online through video conferencing) for the post of Young Professional (one post), Research Associate (One), and Project Assistant (one post) purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with a project at ICAR-IARI, Delhi.

The post details are given below.

 

1. Research Associate (01)

Applications are invited to attend the “Interview (online through video conferencing in Zoom)” for a Research Associate post under SERB-DST funded project entitled “Metal and metalloid hazard in soil, plant, and groundwater in Western Uttar Pradesh receiving irrigation through Hindon river” (up to March 2022) at ICAR- IARI, New Delhi as mentioned below.

Qualifications
  1. Ph.D. in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/ Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Environmental Science.
  2. Knowledge of soil, water, and plant analysis for micronutrients, metals, and metalloids; and computer handling.
  3. Work experience in GIS software and mapping.
Salary

Rs. 47000 +24% HRA (As per DST memorandum)

Applications are invited to attend an interview (in-person/ online through video conferencing) for the post of Young Professional (one post) and Project Assistant (one post) purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project at ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Amartara Cottage, Shimla 171004.

Qualifications
  1. For Young Professional: Post Graduate Degree in Plant Pathology/ Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences with a minimum of 1-year of experience in implementing research projects. The candidate should have work experience in pathogen isolation, molecular techniques such as PCR, qPCR, etc.
  2. For Project Assistant: Graduation in Science with a minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing research projects. The candidate should have work experience in pathogen isolation, molecular techniques, fungicide applications, etc.
