Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following positions in a Department of Science & Technology, Government of India funded project entitled “Center for Excellence in Inclusive Technology Interventions for Tribal Heritage Resilience of Kerala” at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram to be implemented at its main campus in Thiruvananthapuram and its field stations at Idukki and Wayanad.

For Project Associate-II
A First Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology or Chemistry or Biochemistry and 2 years documented relevant experience (after Masters’s degree) in molecular biology (after Masters’s degree). Candidates with a doctoral degree having expertise in molecular biology will get preference in the selection procedure OR
A First Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Pharmacology and 2 years relevant documented experience (after Masters’s degree) in phytochemistry, in vitro cellular assays, etc. Candidates with a doctoral degree having expertise in cell biology, in vitro, and in vivo assays will get preference in the selection procedure.
For Project Associate-I
A First Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology or Chemistry or Biochemistry OR Postgraduate degree or B.Tech in Engineering with documented skills in Fine Arts with Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in regional language (Malayalam). Candidates with experience in fieldwork and implementation of such R & D programs and community mobilization are preferred.
For Field Worker
The candidate must have a Graduate degree or special skills on traditional wisdom and well versed with the locality and tribal communities of Idukki and Wayanad Districts.
- For Project Associate-II: Rs. 35000/- +16% HRA per month.
- For Project Associate-I: Rs. 31,000/- +16% HRA per month
- For Field Worker: Rs.15,000/- per month (Consolidated)
