Applicants are invited for a walk‐in‐interview for the following position purely on a temporary basis in the project entitled “Coping Mechanism during Covid-19 Pandemic in Unorganized Sector: A Qualitative Investigation in Mumbai and Neighbouring Cities”.

Post Details

1. Senior Project Officer (Research)
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Collecting relevant qualitative information from the field
    • Conducting and documenting FGDs, KIIs and Case Studies
    • Analysis of qualitative data and writing the report
    • Knowledge of qualitative data software like, NVIVO, AtlasTi
  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Sciences or Population Sciences with five years’ experience in qualitative research or PhD submitted/awarded from the reputed universities/Institutions. Knowledge of Marathi Language, however, other candidates can also appear in the walk-in-interview
  • Desirable: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Salary: Rs.60,000/‐Per Month (Consolidated)
2. Project Officer (Research)
  • No. of Posts: 02
  • Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Collecting relevant qualitative information from the field
    • Conducting and documenting FGDs, KIIs and Case Studies
    • Analysis of qualitative data and writing the report
    • Knowledge of qualitative data software like, NVIVO, AtlasTi
  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Sciences or Population Sciences with two years’ experience in qualitative research. Knowledge of Marathi Language, however, other candidates can also appear in the walk-in-interview.
  • Desirable: manageable oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Salary: Rs.40,000/‐Per Month (Consolidated)

Nature and Duration of the Posts

  • The tenure of the project is fixed, temporary appointment shall terminate with the completion of the project or the period of appointment, whichever is the earlier.
  • The initial appointment may be for six months and likely to be extended for another three months on the satisfactory discharged of assigned responsibilities. Educational qualifications or working experience may be relaxed in deserving cases.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
