The University of Madras is inviting applications from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Project Fellow in Chemistry in DST funded INSPIRE FACULTY project and Project Fellow Biophysics.

1. Project Fellow Chemistry

Project Title

Supramolecular Architecture and tuning of the NLO properties of metal-organic materials for nonlinear optical device applications.

M.Sc., in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalence CGPA. Candidates with Knowledge/ Experience in synthesis of Inorganic/Organic/metal-organic crystalline compounds and skills in handling of various characterization techniques will be an added advantage.


Rs. 14000/- per month Consolidated.

M.Sc. in Biophysics/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular biology/ M.Tech — Biotechnology

Desirable Qualification

Experience in cloning, recombinant protein expression and purification.


Rs.16,000 (consolidated).
