Karnatak University is a state university in Dharwad district, in the state of Karnataka in India. It was established in October 1949 and officially inaugurated in March 1950. The campus spans 888 acres. D. C. Pavate was the first official vice-chancellor from 1954 to 1967.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the position of Project Fellow/Project Associate-1 to work under the UGC-DAE CSR Research Project entitled ’STUDY OF TRACE ELEMENTS’ under the supervision of Dr. Aravind S. Bennal, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Studies in Physics, Karnatak University, Dharwad.

M. Sc. Degree in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks
14,000/ +16%HRA per month. If the selected has MSc with GATE/NET-JRF then project Associate1 may be given @rs.31,000pm+16%HRA for which proper approval has to be taken from the centre director, Indore Centre.
Presently one year extendable to 3 years
Selected candidates should assist the Principal Investigator and carry out the research work under the scientific supervision of the Principal Investigator and also to work in a collaborative research team.
