Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (formerly Central Salt Research Institute) is a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India. The Institute was inaugurated by Jawahar Lal Nehru on 10 April 1954 at Bhavnagar, in Gujarat.
Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate-I at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.

- Candidate having at least one year experience in catalysis and/or chemical process development is desirable. The selected candidate will have to work on the project entitled “Greener process for the synthesis of perfumery chemicals alpha-Campholenic aldehyde and Carveol at 1 Kg level in ~85% yield and >95% purity”.
- The candidate will be working on catalysis, organic synthesis, analysis of chemical samples, process development, optimization and demonstration of the above processes.
Rs. 31000/- pm + HRA as per CSIR guidelines. The HRA is payable only if no Hostel accommodation is available.
As on the date of interview, maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
These positions are purely temporary up to 31/03/2022. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.
