CSIR-CSMCRI Marine Algal Research Station has been a pioneer in developing seaweed farming technologies in the country. It has also commercialized many cultivation technologies impacting the social upliftment of coastal communities.

As a part of its endeavour to develop technology on commercial cultivation of economic seaweeds by adopting tissue culture technique, under NFDB, Hyderabad funded project titled “Mass seedling production of Kappaphycus alvarezii through tissue culture Technique and supply of tissue-cultured seedlings to the farmers of Tamil Nadu coast.” the field station would like to invite applications from young and dynamic candidates with strong experience in tissue culture work for the following position.

Rs. 25,000/-(consolidated)

Job Description

The selected candidate shall be ready to work on Mass propagation of Kappaphycus alvarezii through tissue culture in the laboratory and field condition in the sea.
