The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position.
The postdoctoral fellow will perform interdisciplinary research focused on healthcare applications of ultrasound at the Medical Ultrasound Engineering (MUSE) Lab. Specifically, the candidate will work on contrast-enhanced ultrasound and ultrasound-enabled therapy.
The position will provide opportunities to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team. The candidate should be self-motivated and deeply interested in biomedical research. The fellow will receive extensive training in ultrasound and research methods, along with career-guidance. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical/ Electrical Engineering, or related fields, from recognized institutions/ universities with good academic track record and publications. Candidates with demonstrated track-record in ultrasound or related area will be given preferance. Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also eligible. Previous experience with ultrasound instrumentation is desirable, but not essential.
