The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi invites applications from eligible and bright candidates for the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow at the institute.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (aka. IIIT-Delhi or IIIT-D) was created as a State University by an act of Delhi Government (The IIIT Delhi Act, 2007) empowering it to do research and development, and grant degrees. In a relatively short time, it has earned an excellent reputation in India and abroad for being a center of quality education and research in IT and interdisciplinary areas.
Number Theory. The position is funded by SERB (DST) and is sanctioned to Dr. Sneha Chaubey, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. The candidate will carry out research in analytic number theory along with Dr. Sneha Chaubey.
The candidate should possess:
- A Ph.D. degree in Mathematics.
- A strong background in number theory, especially analytic number theory.
Rs. 50,000 per month (fixed salary)
1 year (Possibility of extension on the basis of performance).
