The Finance and Accounting Area of IIM Bangalore invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Banking and Finance.
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a public business school and Institute of National Importance located in Bangalore, India. Founded in 1973, it was the third IIM to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad.
Roles and Responsibilities
The goal of the Post-Doctoral researcher will be to undertake a joint research project with the supervising faculty on a topic of mutual interest. The deliverable will be in the form of a working paper potentially publishable in leading banking and finance journals by the end of the duration of the fellowship.
Qualifications
- This is a full-time research position with no teaching obligation.
- The candidate should have finished or be close to finishing his/ her Ph.D. in either finance, banking, economics, statistics, econometrics, or related areas; and is expected to work under the supervision of the faculty.
- Age limit: up to 45 years.

Salary
The monthly emolument for this position is highly competitive at INR 90,000 per month (Gross).
