Azim Premji University is inviting applications for the following Postgraduate Programmes 2020.

1. M.A. Education

The Master of Arts in Education Programme at Azim Premji University aims to address the significant talent gap in the Education sector. This unique broad-based programme of study includes theory, practice, research, policy and planning in education. They will be equipped to take up roles such as Program Associates/Managers, Curriculum designers, Teacher Educators, School Leaders, Researchers etc.

2. M.A. Development

The M.A. Development Programme offers a deep understanding of the development and social change and enables you to develop capabilities for action.

After successful completion of the programme, you can look forward to a variety of roles such as Program Associates/Managers, Domain Specialists, Researchers and other exciting roles in organisations working in the domains of livelihoods, sustainability, public health, social entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, advocacy, etc. About 90 organisations visit the campus every year for recruitment. Our alumni are working in established organisations like PRADAN, Foundation for Ecological Security, Gram Vikas, BAIF, State Livelihood Missions, Kudumbashree, among others.

3. M.A. Public Policy and Governance

The Master of Arts in Public Policy and Governance is a 2-year full-time degree programme that systematically and critically explores the nature and practice of complex public problem-solving in a developing constitutional democracy.

The programme draws on the disciplines of law, economics, history, philosophy, politics and anthropology to devise an interdisciplinary curriculum that encourages deep ethical reflections on public choice, sophisticated empirical analysis of policy choice and programme implementation and field engaged insight into the experience of the everyday Indian state.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (including Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Commerce, Management, etc.) from a recognized University.
  • Undergraduate students who are appearing for their final year examinations and completing their graduation on or before September 2020 are also eligible to apply. The offer of provisional admission is valid only on successful completion of graduation.
  • Guaranteed 50% waiver on Tuition-fee for candidates with more than 3 years of work experience after graduation.
