Admissions Open: M.Tech @ Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Amethi: Apply by June 30

The institute invites application for admission in a 2-year M. Tech. programme in the following disciplines for the session commencing in July 2017 (Academic Session 2017-18).

  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering

Eligibility: 

  • Petroleum Engineering: A 4-year B.Tech./B.E. degree in Petroleum Engineering with a first class or minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (55% marks or 5.5 CPI for SC/ST students) in the qualifying exam and a qualified GATE score
  • Chemical Engineering:A 4-year B.Tech./B.E. degree in Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering with a first class or minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (55% marks or 5.5 CPI for SC/ST students) in the qualifying exam and a qualified GATE Score.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and interview. Final selection will be made based on the performance in written test, interview, GATE score and previous academic performances taken together.

Application Fee:

Application fee should be submitted before filling of application form. Payment of the application fee should be made through online / bank challan system. (SBI & associate Bank only).

  • Rs.400/-(Four hundred only) for GEN and OBC
  • Rs.200/-(Two hundred only) for SC, ST and PH

Application fee is non-refundable.

How to Apply
Admission form should be submitted online before the last date as specified under “important dates”. Candidates are need to bring all the documentary evidences in original (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience and research/professional experience) along with a self-attested photocopy of each at the time of interview.
