The Centre for Software and Information Technology Management (CSITM) of IIM Bangalore and the Association for Information Systems, India Chapter (INAIS) will host a workshop on the topic ‘Qualitative Comparative Analysis’, on June 30 (Tuesday), 2020, at 06:30 pm.
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a public business school and Institute of National Importance located in Bangalore, India. Founded in 1973, it was the third IIM to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad.
The objective of this workshop is to give IS scholars a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes findings of the researcher, along with the challenges faced while conducting a particular study – experiences with different methods, the challenges in working with them, while also providing a glimpse of the nuances in the ramp-to-store, the ideation-to-acceptance process of shaping a paper.
The workshops will cover Ethnography, Critical Realism, Field Experiments, Qualitative Comparative Analysis, Agent-based Simulation, System Dynamics, Survey Research, Econometric Modelling, SEM/PLS, Theory Building, Heterogeneous Data, etc.
The speaker at the workshop would be Professor M. N. Ravishankar, Loughborough University, UK.
