Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal is organizing an Online Workshop On Gender Equity & rights for Women from February 22 to 26, 2021.
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal (An Institution of National Importance), offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses and research programs. Purpose of the Course
Gender equality – which becomes reality when all genders are treated fairly and allowed equal opportunities – is a complicated human rights issue for every country in the world. Recent statistics are sobering. According to the World Economic Forum, it will take 108 years to achieve gender parity.
The biggest gaps are found in political empowerment and economics. Also, there are currently just six countries that give women and men equal legal work rights. Generally, women are only given ¾ of the rights given to men. To learn more about how gender equality is measured, how it affects both women and men, and what can be done, this five days’ workshop is organized.

- Gender issues and organizational development
- Mental and physical health of women engineers and scientists
- Crimes, their prevention, prohibition, and redress
- Stress management
- Working women rights
Who can Attend?
The course will be useful for all faculty, working engineers, advocates and scientists, and researchers.
Speakers
The experts/ faculty from the different plate-forms of social science/ police/ NLIU will be keynote speakers.
