The Department of Architecture & Planning, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur is organizing an Online Training Program on Assessing Urban Sustainability from January 11 to 15, 2021.
The program would provide an excellent opportunity for the dissemination of information and technology, sharing of expertise, and exchange of views related to sustainable construction engineering. The knowledge sharing and discussions during the program will be immensely beneficial for delivering sustainable construction projects.
Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur is one of the thirty National Institutes of Technology in the country.
This short-term training program provides a chance to understand and assess the current status of the urban environment and identify the opportunity and challenges by adopting the path of intelligent and sustainable urban development.
Participants will be equipped with knowledge of urban sustainability. They will learn various assessment tools to measure the urban environment at different scales and varying sectors. This will guide them to generate the methodology for implementing sustainability in the planning process.
