NIT Silchar is organising One Week Indo-German SPARC Symposium cum Workshop on “Recent Advances in Machine Translation”, (RAMT-2021) (Virtual Event) on 15-19 March 2021. The last date of registration is 13 March 2021.
About the Workshop
One of the core NLP problems is to build systems that break down language barriers among different speakers. The task of Machine translation (MT) is to automatically translate a source language to a target language. From text to text translation, researchers are incorporating various input modalities(such as text, image, speech etc) to improve the quality of MT output.
The multimodal machine translation (MMT) incorporates features using multiple modalities to generate the target output. RAMT-2021 would provide a roadmap to young researchers (PG/ PhD/ Post Doc) working in the field of machine translation with a focus on multimodal approach.
This program is open to students (UG/PG/PhD/Post Doc), faculty members and industry personnel from recognized technical institutions/ organizations interested in the emerging area of Machine Translation.
