Dass SRL is a start-up company engaged in simplifying advanced mathematical concepts and promote these simplified mathematical concepts globally. The company has developed an innovative technique of teaching mathematics.

It is a geometry-based teaching technique which helps students to convert any mathematical concept into geometrical shapes without any programming knowledge. It helps in clear understanding of mathematical concepts and makes mathematics learning easy enjoyable and reduces mathematics learning time dramatically.

Dass SRL is collaborating with Allevents and Google classroom for pre-event and post-event management and smooth communication with participants. Now participants can raise their post-event doubts through Google classroom.

Dass SRL is organising the following online Mathematics workshops in the month of August.

1. Special Online Workshop on Mathematical tools For School Students in Bengali

Date and Time: Sat, Aug 01 2020 at 06:00 pm

School students from class one to class twelve are required to learn many diverse topics. The students from class eight to class twelve are required relearn what they learned learned from earlier classes and prepare themselves higher studies. This can not happen in isolation only by following class-wise syllabuses. It is a journey which requires continuous monitoring mentoring scaffolding. They should get proper mathematical tools for solving their problem. This workshop provides few mathematical tools which they can use in arithmetic geometry algebra vectors calculus trigonometry and many others.

After joining the event students will be accommodated in google classroom where they can ask unlimited questions related to the mathematical concepts related to their course of study.

2. Key Mathematics for Fractals Geometry Online Workshop

Date and Time: Sat Aug 08 2020 at 06:00 pm

Fractal geometry is the study of the geometry of nature. Every student should get familiarity with this topic. When the fractals look very interesting beautiful and complex the mathematics behind the creation of fractals is very simple but not available readily. In this activity based online mathematics workshop few tools and techniques will be taught to create fractals in MS Excel. No programming or coding knowledge is required.

3. Online Workshop on Activity Based Complex Analysis in MS Excel

Date and Time: Sun Aug 09 2020 at 06:00 pm

Complex number system is introduced in Class-XI in the CBSE course. Number system starts with natural numbers and slowly moves to whole numbers rational numbers real numbers etc. It is being taught abstractly in schools. Then again it is extended to under graduate and higher courses. But many students fail to understand the underlying concepts of complex numbers. In this course every concept related to complex numbers are demonstrated geometrically using MS Excel.

4. Mathematical Tools for Mothers of Growing Child Online Workshop

Date and Time: Mon Aug 10 2020 at 06:00 pm

This course are designed based on the thoughts that “Mothers are the best teachers”. As cited by Jen Hardy@ in Quora mothers typically know their children better than anyone else having been with them since the day they were born and being with them every day. Many fathers are very good at parenting but it’s usually the mother who spends the most time with each child.

For teaching mathematics you (mother) don’t need to be a mathematician. Mathematics will be taught by respective teachers and faculties. As a mother you can teach the mathematical tools to your child. It will help them in understanding those concepts better.

5. Online Mathematics Workshop on 2D Modelling in MS Excel

Date and Time: Fri Aug 14 2020 at 06:00 pm

Class XI is the bridge between the topics learned up to Class X and the topics that are required to be learned for higher studies. Many new topics are being introduced in this class such as set theory functions limits calculus mathematical reasoning infinite series complex numbers etc. Similarly many new topics are being introduced in class twelve like matrices determinants vector algebra linear programming differential equations etc. All these topics have been developed from thousands of years intellectual pursuits of great minds of our society. It is very difficult to learn all these topics overnight. With our innovative teaching technique and integrated teaching approach students can learn these concepts in an easy and enjoyable way.

Majority of these topics deal with two-dimensional world phenomena which can be extended in three dimensions. There is no easy tool available to capture these world dynamism.

In this workshop few tools and techniques will be taught using MS Excel to construct two dimensional objects apply transformations like rotation reflection scaling shearing translation and animate them.

The knowledge gained in this workshop will help in understanding the topics like trigonometry functions limits calculus series complex numbers matrices determinants vector algebra coordinate geometry etc. and leaning mathematics will become easy and enjoyable.

6. Online Workshop on 3-D Mathematics Modeling

Date and Time: Sun Aug 16 2020 at 06:00 pm

In this workshop few tools and techniques will be taught using MS Excel to construct three dimensional objects apply transformations like rotation reflection scaling shearing translation and animate them.

The knowledge gained in this workshop will help in understanding the topics like trigonometry functions limits calculus series complex numbers matrices determinants vector algebra coordinate geometry etc. and leaning mathematics will become easy and enjoyable.

As a prerequisite participants are requested to attend 2-D workshop on transformation animation and modelling.

7. Online Workshop on Reservoir Simulation in MS Excel

Date and Time: Tue Aug 18 2020 at 06:00 pm

Reservoir engineering is one of the most challenging subjects for petroleum engineers. Among the reservoir engineering topics reservoir simulation is most challenging to learn. The standard reservoir simulation that is available in the market is complicated to learn in a short time. To minimize the difficulty in learning reservoir simulation the entire reservoir simulation process has been developed in MS Excel.

In this workshop students will learn about the primary data that is required to start a reservoir simulation how these data is used to predict future reservoir performance the sequence and workflow to be followed and how to match the reservoir production and performance history. All the activity will be performed in MS Excel.

8. Online workshop on Activity-Based Calculus in MS Excel

Date and Time: Thu Aug 20 2020 at 06:00 pm

Calculus is one of the fascinating subjects which was developed by Sir Issac Newton (1642-1726) and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. Calculus can be treated as the first branch of mathematics to deal with the daily life problems. But the way it is being taught the majority of students fail to understand the relevance of this branch of mathematics with real-life issues.

In this workshop the calculus will be taught with geometrical interpretation so that the participants can learn the difficult concepts of calculus very easily within a very short span of time.

9. Mathematical Modelling Contest

The main aim of this competition is to re-orient the students and Professionals in this direction so that they can learn the art of using technology in mathematical modeling and strengthen their foundation in the understanding of the fundamental concepts of mathematics and science.

The competition will be divided into two phases:

1) Registration Phase and

2) Modeling Phase.

Those who want to take part in the competition have to first register for it. This registration period will be of around 15 days and the competition period will be for seven days. The contest will be opened only after the registration is closed and only the registered person can complete for the contest.

Registration Period is 03.07.2020 @ 01 pm to 08.8.2020 @10 pm.
