The Economics Department of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has scheduled an extensive lecture on “Still Waters Run Deep: Ground Water Arsenic Contamination and Education Outcomes in India” by Dr. Rashmi Barua, Assistant Professor, CITD, JNU on 9th September 2020 at 03:00 pm(1500 hrs).

About the Speaker
  • Dr Rashmi teaches economics at the Centre for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi). She has also taught at the School of Economics, Singapore Management University and the Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi.
  • A native of India, she received a PhD in economics from Boston University in 2008.
