NIT Kurukshetra is organizing an AICTE sponsored Online FDP on Research Confront & Document Preparation using LaTeX from August 2 to 6, 2021.
National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, one of the 31 NITs in the country, is a premier center of learning and research in various disciplines of Engineering and Management. It trains and develops high-caliber professionals to serve not only the country but also the world at large. Established in 1963 as a REC, the college was elevated to a National Institute with Deemed University status in June 2002.
The primary objective of the FDP is “Efficient Document Writing” of the faculties and research enthusiasts of the Institutes. The program will facilitate the researchers/ faculty members to understand the essential concepts of research, methodology, issues, technical writing through a totally practical and hands-on approach.
This program aims to provide necessary training on reliable software and simulators that can be utilized for writing research papers and proposals. The key highlights of the program include the detailed concept of Research Collaboration, Preparation, Navigation, Communication, Publishing, Novelty, and Similarity Indexes.

Who can Attend?
The faculty members of the AICTE approved institutions, research scholars, PG Scholars, participants from Government, Industry (Bureaucrats/ Technicians/ Participants from Industry, etc.), and staff of host institutions. Not more than 30% from the Host Institution.

The number of participants is limited to 200. Certificates will be given to registered participants & subsequently approved by the coordinator, provided participants obtain 80% attendance, 60% marks in assessment, and Feedback given by participants on Portal only.
